Images not showing up

Sometimes you may face problem that your images are not displaying in the site, like this example. We use Timthumb script to resize the images and some hosts do not allow the use of Timthumb for security reasons. Here’s how to solve this problem:

Go to Plugin Control Panel from Easy Media > Settings > Miscellaneous and turn OFF Use TimThumb option.

If it still does not work please try solutions below :

  1. Firstly make sure that you use image from wordpress media library, not from external site.

  2. Now try to re-upload your image to the media library, this issue usually occurs when you do import data from localhost (temporarily site) to the main site, or you install the PRO version in WP Multisite.

The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found. Plugin install failed.

  1. Go to Media > Library and delete all easy_media-gallery_pro_v-plugin-version.zip ( if exist ).

  2. Extract/Unzip easy_media-gallery_pro_v-plugin-version.zip on your PC, you will get file named easy-media-gallery.zip

  3. Go to Plugins > Add new > Upload and upload easy-media-gallery.zip NOT easy_media-gallery_pro_v-plugin-version.zip

The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini

Depending on the web hosting company you choose and the package you select, each of you will see maximum file upload limit. For some it is as low as 2MB. In this tutorial, we will show you how to increase the maximum file upload size in WordPress. There are three ways that you can select one.

  1. Theme Functions File : There are cases where we have seen that just by adding the following code in the theme function’s file, you can increase the upload size:

    @ini_set( 'upload_max_size' , '64M' );
    @ini_set( 'post_max_size', '64M');
    @ini_set( 'max_execution_time', '300' );
  2. Create or Edit an existing PHP.INI file : In most cases if you are on a shared host, you will not see a php.ini file in your directory. If you do not see one, then create a file called php.ini and upload it in the root folder. In that file add the following code:

    upload_max_filesize = 64M
    post_max_size = 64M
    max_execution_time = 300
  3. htaccess Method : Some people have tried using the htaccess method where by modifying the .htaccess file in the root directory, you can increase the maximum upload size in WordPress. Open or create the .htaccess file in the root folder and add the following code:

    php_value upload_max_filesize 64M
    php_value post_max_size 64M
    php_value max_execution_time 300
    php_value max_input_time 300
